This policy covers the website, your communications with us and our financial planning, pension, insurance, tax and fiduciary services. Swiss data protection law applies. Where relevant, we also take account of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Data we process and why

When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, topic and message. We use them to reply, discuss a possible engagement and communicate with you.

Depending on the service, an engagement may require identity and contact details, as well as tax, income, assets, pension and insurance information. Documents may also come from insurers, pension providers or authorities where this is part of the engagement. Health data can be particularly sensitive for certain insurance services; we process it only where needed and obtain any required express consent.

We also process data to meet legal obligations and protect our systems. Newsletters are available through a separate optional subscription. This website does not use marketing tracking. It does not make solely automated decisions with legal effect.

Website visits and calculators

The current website is provided through OpenAI Sites and is publicly accessible. When you visit, the platform and its technical providers may process connection details such as your IP address, time, requested page and browser information to deliver the site, verify access and prevent misuse. A specific retention period for this site’s hosting logs has not been confirmed, so we do not state a general period.

The financial calculators run in your browser. Entries are sent to us only if you include them in a contact enquiry and submit it. Knowledge PDF requests collect the contact details shown in the request form; the PDF is emailed exclusively to the supplied email address.

Contact, email and appointment requests

You can send an enquiry directly through the form. We use Brevo for email delivery and Microsoft 365 to handle our email correspondence. Online appointments use Microsoft Bookings. After clicking the booking link, you enter booking details directly with Microsoft. We use those details to organise and conduct your meeting. This website does not offer document uploads.

Please do not include copies of identity documents, tax returns, insurance policies or other confidential documents in an initial enquiry. If needed, we will agree a suitable way to receive them.

Recipients and processing abroad

We use the current hosting platform to provide and protect the website. We use Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Bookings, for email, documents and online appointments and may use Notion for project and customer documentation. For an engagement, data may be shared with insurers, pension providers, social insurance offices, tax authorities and other recipients necessary for the agreed service. Within our company, access is limited to the people responsible.

These services and the external services below may process data outside Switzerland, including in the European Economic Area or the United States. The specific country and safeguards depend on the service and its contract. Swiss law requires appropriate safeguards or a legal exception for transfers to countries without adequate protection. You may ask us about a particular recipient and the relevant measures.

External maps, links and WhatsApp

An interactive Google map is embedded on the contact page and loads when that page is opened. Google may then receive technical data such as your IP address and the page visited, and may set cookies. Links to Google reviews and other external websites open only when clicked; their providers’ privacy policies then also apply.

If you open the WhatsApp link or write to us there, Meta/WhatsApp processes data such as telephone numbers and communication metadata under its own terms. Processing in Ireland and the United States is possible. Please use WhatsApp only for practical arrangements and do not send sensitive financial, tax, identity or health documents through it.

Local storage and cookies

Our website code currently sets no analytics or marketing cookies. Your language choice and dismissal of the cookie notice are stored locally in your browser until you delete them. The platform may use technically necessary sign-in or security data for access to the public website. You can delete local data and cookies in your browser settings.

Microsoft Bookings is requested only after you click the booking option. From then on, Microsoft may use cookies or similar technologies under its privacy statement. Before activating analytics or marketing services, we will update this policy and the relevant settings. The cookie notice is not consent to services that are not in use.

Retention and your rights

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the relevant purpose or a legal duty. Certain business and tax records are generally subject to a ten-year statutory retention period. Retention of enquiries and engagement records depends on their purpose and legal duties; technical logs are retained under the hosting platform’s rules.

You may request access to your data and, where the law allows, its correction or deletion. You may withdraw consent for future processing.
